GT5: Top Gear test track gets footage
Some new off-screen footage of the Gran Turismo 5 version of the Top Gear test track has hit the internet, and top notch it looks, too.
The game has been in development for years, but thankfully Sony finally gave it a date during its E3 press conference last week.
You can watch the trailer below, get an information blow out here and also find out just how long 3D has been implemented into the game here.
Gran Turismo will start to roll out to stores on November 2 for the US. No European date has yet been revealed.

Why are there no caravans being destroyed in the background while Morris Minors have pianos dropped on them?
I’m buying GT5 purely so I can play the Top Gear track.

Shame they didnt have the same camera angles as on the show. The angle they show when the car can be floored past the tyre wall is amazing and gives a great sense of speed. The angles in this vid are a bit pap, I am being picky though

@Dannybuoy – you aren’t being picky, I had the exact same thought. Its a global TV show, everyone is used to those angles, they should have used them.
Other thoughts
1) the weather is too sunny
2) Why demo it with a nascar??

NASCAR because it was being shown at E3 which is a US event. They do show some of those Top Gear angles in the release date trailer so they’ll probably be in the final version.

Certain parts look like real TV wow. I hope we can export our replays to the XMB and view them whenever we want. Photo mode has me screaming like a 12 year old girl at a NSYNC concert already.
