Resident Evil and SOCOM 4 videos show Move support

New PlayStation Move footage has arrived on the internet, showing gameplay from both Resident Evil 5 and SOCOM 4.
The first title, SOCOM 4 will be released as a Move compatible game and has been built with the Move controls in mind. Users will also have the option of using the standard DualShock controllers if they wish.
Resident Evil 5 will receive a patch via DLC, allowing for Move to become compatible with the game. It will allow players to mix and match controls, therefore when playing co-op one person can use move, and the other if preferred, can use the standard controls.
PlayStation Move is out in September.
Thanks, PlayFront

Looks like it works pretty well but at the same time looks like no improvement to standard control. So who needs this. I would have liked a Complete redesign of the dualshock/sixaxis more

Excellent, they’ve copied RE4 Wii Edition’s controls. Probably my biggest gripe with RE5 was that after the Wii controls, going back to a joypad was really constrained and annoying.
Generally I’ve not got much time for the Wii, but RE4 Wii Edition really was a joy to play with those controls. Hopefully the Move version of RE5 will be similarly fun and might even redeem it a little bit from being the dumbed down clone of RE4 that it was.

So for RE5 its only for the Gold Edition and not the standard? Thats pretty lame.

Yeah, when I read the article it sounded like the patch would apply to both versions of RE5. This guy in the video then proceeded to confuse the matter again.

If you wanna reload, just waggle it. If you wanna use the knife, just waggle it
