Rock of Ages from Ace Team coming spring 2011

rockofages

Atlus has announced that it's to publish Ace Team's next digital release, Rock of Ages.

It's a strategy game where you control "gigantic boulders of doom" in order to destroy your opponent's "crappy crenelations that are driving down your property values - also, their castle sucks".

Good enough reason for us.

The way it works, is that once your turn is up, your opponent can then use boulders to destroy your love fortifications as well, so build strong and wisely.

According to the PR, there are "different terrains and challenges, your boulder will crash through different periods of classical art, introducing the player to a variety of authentic art styles and music from throughout much of human history".

Sounds like wacky fun which is to be expected from the folks who brought us that gem of a brawler, Zeno Clash.

It's out next spring, and digital outlets are to be announced.

Watch the video below. It, er, rocks.
