E32011 dated as 2010 attendance tops 46K

The Entertainment Software Association has announced that E3 will return to the Los Angeles Convention Center in 2011 and will run from June 7-9.
It also announced that 45,600 people from 90 different countries attended this year’s event.
The attendance figure is a bit higher than 2009′s 41K by around 4600.
Still, that’s a load folks.
Exhibitors this year numbered around 300, and we saw Microsoft finally reveal Kinect, Sony demonstrate its Move line-up, and Nintendo unveil 3DS.
It was surely an interesting week to say the least. Nothing tops this though.
Maybe next year will be even crazier.

Don’t think E3 2011 will beat this year, unless a successor to PS3, 360 or Wii is announced.

346 days until you’ll be frantically bashing keys, pulling out hairs and day-dreaming of your warm beds – to bring us symbiotic creatures the latest in Electronic Entertainment news – once again.
Looking forward to it?

Once again I’ve come out of E3 thinking it was pretty rubbish. I don’t know why I even bother getting excited about it any more.
