European PS Home spaces get revamped

newhomesquare

SCEE has revealed that it’s to release a new Home square and Shopping Centre for PlayStation Home this Thursday.

The brand new Home Square will include all-new mini-games, including a game where you will be put on the spot to kick home penalty shots past an increasingly skillful robot goalie.

There will also be a brand new video screen topped by a scrolling news ticker, where you’ll be able to find out all the latest goings-on in Home.

In addition, there is a brand new water fountain that doubles as a Polling Booth where you can answer questions, and the overall community’s answers affect the water jets in real time.

Finally, the shopping centre has also been redesigned, giving it a new open air look.

All the details are here.

Like they showed well before this was ever in public beta?

:/

I’ve not bothered installing Home since I bought my Slim. Whenever I tried it out it was a total waste of time. And progress bars. So many progress bars…

@6 You should expect it to remain in perpetual beta.
