Zune voice controlled on Xbox Live

kinect

Marc Whitten has just shown Zune Marketplace on Xbox Live with full voice control.

Demonstrating the new tech, Marc was able to pause the Xbox, rewind and more just by using his voice.

This experience will work with not just Zune but with Facebook, Twitter and every other application which is available on the Xbox 360.

Kinect is the future. Now.

You can also call and video chat with just motions and voice. It’s totally 2020.

Jeez… watching now, and Kinect is boooooooooring as hell. Voice control is kinda nice but the games are awful imo.

Lag is a big problem so it seems. The reactions off the audience aren’t helping either

Kinect isn’t boring the tech is actually pretty damn good, including the voice control stuff. the problem is the software but remember its early days. Early life cycle software for most hardware is sub par.
