Halo Reach to have playable space combat

haloreach

A trailer for Halo Reach has shown that the game has playable space combat, a ship was shown flying into space and then all out warfare hell broke out, in space.

This looks hot.

It was also confirmed tonight that Firefight, the multiplayer mode that debuted in Halo 3: ODST last year, will be included.

That should make Halo fans happy.

You can read up on that and watch the demo of the space combat in the link up top.

Reach, is slated to land on Xbox 360 September 14.

Gotta say as PS3 only owner, this game looked immense. Nice one Bungie.

Not only that, the gameplay showed you being launched into space from the planet surface, in real time.

I don’t know, Halo has never had pre-rendered sequences.

No but its always had FMV’s where more effects and high rez character models are used.
Anyway, FMV’s can still use the in-game engine as it is. I’m just pointing out that you dont get to press action to sit in the spacecraft and get to look around in first person as it flys to space.
