E3 2010 – Microsoft press conference liveblog!
Oh lordy. Oh lordy, lordy, lordy. It’s so fucking on.
Fresh from its Natal/Kinect event last night, Microsoft is the first out of the big three to have its main E3 press conference.
We’re reporting live from LA. What to expect? Hit the break.
More Kinect stuff is a given, sure, as is demos of Halo: Reach, Gears of War 3 and Fable III. A little more on Rare’s Natal stuff, like Kinect Sports wouldn’t be a miss neither.
But the big megaton looks set to be the reveal of a new form factor for Xbox 360 in a new slimline version for the console. And obviously, there’s one other question: who or if is going to tap Mattrick’s shoulder this year? Only Don himself knows.

So one core game that we didn’t know about, and all we got from that was a minute or so of cgi.
Given how many games Sony have announced in the past months like Killzone 3, Socom 4, inFamous 2, Motorstorm 3 and LittleBig Planet 2, where was MS’s answer to that. A big FU to the core gamer IMO.

I was hoping to be shown a unique way of combining Kinect with a normal controller game to enhance the overall gaming experience. I was shown idiots prancing around and getting sweaty. Looks like Move has the edge for now.

@231 the tiger seemed very much like Milo in a fursuit to me. Perhaps worried by the comparisons to inappropriate relationships with small boys, they attempted to shift focus by giving him whiskers and a tail, and inadvertantly ended up with a whole different brand of deviancy.
Or maybe Milo was the kid from Heavy Rain’s nickname.
