Sony posts Patapon-related countdown clock

You know how - despite brick-wall-thick layers of wrapping paper - you can tell what's inside some birthday/Christmas/what have you presents just by looking at them? Well, this new countdown clock from Sony's a lot like that.

Obviously, it has something to do with Patapon. But what, exactly? Well, smart money says it's Patapon 3, Patapon PS3, or Patapon 3 on the PS3. One thing stands out, though: the Greek letter beta. Of course, the natural response is to guess that some kind of beta test is on the horizon. After all, the concept's so ingrained in modern gamers that many of them probably believe the Greeks stole their alphabet from Halo 3.

Fortunately, the clock looks to wind down just in time for E3. Shock of the century, we know. So yeah. More soon.
