Trine 2 to be shown at E3 next week by Atlus

trine

Looks like Trine 2 is set to be announced at E3 next week, according to the line-up of publisher Atlus 2.

Developer of the original, Frozenbyte, will work on the sequel.

Also to be shown at E3 from Atlus is Rock of Ages, Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City and Knights in the Nightmare.

It was revealed earlier this week that Atlus and Frozenbyte would announce its new project together in LA, with a release due in 2011.

Guess that’s the surprise ruined, then.

Thanks, Joystiq.

“Developer of the PSN-exclusive original, Frozenbyte, will…”

Johnny, I am pretty sure I purchased my copy through Steam, not PSN. ;)

Trine was never PS3 exclusive… Trine was released much earlier on Steam and X-Box Live then on PSN :)

Trine didn’t come to Xbox at all, never mind ‘much earlier’. :-)

Trine was a gem and a half. Never on xbla, but was on steam and PSN.

Played the demo on PSN and liked it. Haven’t bought it yet though, but I’d like to see a sequel.
