Rockstar: No "current plans" for PC version of Red Dead Redemption

Red-Dead-Redemption-2

Console gamers occasionally had to saddle up on invisible horses, but at least they got to see the rest of Red Dead Redemption.

PC gamers, though, not so much.

"As of now, there are no current plans to bring Red Dead Redemption to the PC platform. If that should change, we will let you know," a Rockstar rep replied when asked about a PC version in the comments section of its Rockstar News Wire.

That's not to say, however, that Red Dead's just regular old dead on the PC. Rockstar's no stranger to delayed PC ports, with numerous Grand Theft Auto titles popping up on PCs months after launching on consoles.

For now, though, taming the wild west and hunting its wildlife to near-extinction are console-exclusive past-times. Well, unless you happen to have a copy of Oregon Trail lying around, anyway.
