Crytek confirms multiplayer beta of Crysis 2

crysis25

Crytek’s confirmed that it will hold a multiplayer beta of Crysis 2. There is a catch, though.

For now, if you are one of the first people to sign up to the relaunch of the shooter’s MyCrysis service, which will take place later this afternoon, you will be entered into the beta, as so:

“Looking to get your hands on Crysis 2 early? Now is your chance! Early registrations will be tracked, and our first wave of users will have a chance to win a key as and when the Crysis 2 beta takes place. All you need to do is sign up early and one day in the near future you may be receiving a mail with an invite to the game.”

No mention of platforms, though.

Crysis 2 will release this autumn for PS3, 360 and PC, having been pushed up from a holiday release last night.

Thanks, Big Download.

Is adding awful music an automatic feature during YouTube uploading?

As for the beta, the new MyCrysis site goes live at 12:00 CET (Central European Time is GMT+1 which means 11:00 GMT) which is also when you can register for a chance of getting in the beta. It’ll probably be PC only, but i’ll keep an eye on it.
