New Kingdom Hearts title to be revealed at E3, says Nomura

Kingdom Hearts

Kingdom Hearts creator Tetsuya Nomura has dropped the bassline: a new title in the series will be announced at E3 next week.

Speaking in the latest issue of Game Informer, he said it'll be one of two titles announced this year in the series.

One of them must be Kingdom Hearts III, yes? Nope: Nomura said that as far as he's concerned, he's never formally revealed its existence. To make sure, he used the term "two titles other then III".

The E3 reveal of the new Kingdom Hearts is meant to be seen as Square doing "something for the North American fans".

As for Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Nomura, who is directing the title, says development is going smoothly. He says, however, it will take its development "one step at a time".

But if the game's not at E3, when will it be shown? Nomura and Square still has "plans to showcase the title at a certain point".

Nomura will be at E3 next week. This is probably why.
