PS3 bundles with HDMI cables spotted in the wild

PS3 bundles that include a copy of LittleBigPlanet GOTY Edition and a 6ft HDMI cable were spotted in the wild at Fry’s Electronics.
Granted, you can pretty much buy HDMI cables rather cheaply now and days – ones that are rather long as well – but at least Sony is starting think about the needs of its customers by including one in a box.
Providing the cost doesn’t go up just because a cable is included, it’s just a convenient thing to do, really.
Microsoft stopped including the cables with Xbox 360 Elite last year, to cut down on cost and give consumers a brand choice, which is fine really – you just need to shop around a bit, and not let Best Buy or GameStop deter you with $60 price tags.
We looked on Fry’s site and didn’t see the bundle, so we called and were told that it includes the 250Gb Slim, the game, and the cable for $349.99 – and that it is currently out of stock, but more are on the way.

@2 there will still be Normal AC cable in the box.
Also, I hope its good quality SONY HDMI that does not break. I got the Xbox 360 back then when they gave you Microsfot HDMI in the box, it broke on the second day, what a piece of shit HDMI cable. I hope Sony does not go cheap with the cable.

Thats funny because mine still works, the same thing could easily happen with the Sony HDMI cable. Hell HDMI cables are so cheap I bought my second one from Amazon for 5$.
