Rumor: Ye olde Sims on the way?

sims3

Dung festering in the streets. Lack of proper plumbing. Plague. Nearly non-existent life-expectancy. Unending torrents of played-out Monty Python and The Holy Grail jokes.

Those are the medieval times for you. Sounds like a pretty great place for a Sims game, huh?

That’s exactly where The Sims are headed next, however, if EA plans on doing anything with a gaggle of extremely subtle domain names it recently laid claim to.

As spotted by superannuation, they are simsmedieval.com, simsmedieval.net, thesimsmedieval.com, thesimsmedieval.net, thesimsgetmedieval.com, and thesimsgetmedieval.net.

Those could be for anything! But – and this is just a wild guess – we think EA might be gearing up for a medieval Sims expansion pack. But then, we could be way off-base. For all we know, EA might just be setting the hype train in motion for its hip new mascot: Sim Smedieval. It’s kind of hard to tell with these things.

The only good place for a Sims game is the bin.

Sims is a brilliant game in its own style… not playing it myself but girlfriend is a Sims fanatic and only good things coming out of her mouth about this game… except that it crashes at randome times.

Smedievel? yes please.. gives me more time to play some Uncharted 2 without interuption of my GF :P

Probably is just another expansion pack.

I’d rather they cracked on with a brand new SimCity game, unlike the previous crap they chucked out. SimCity was decent.
