Marvel Vs Capcom 3 screens do the high-res shuffle

Finish him! That’s the other one. The Iron Fist Tournament? No.
Unity’s posted some fantastic high-res shots of Marvel Vs Capcom 3, showing Ryu, Wolverine and others going mental on some lovely back-drops.
Resident Evil Chris is firing a shotgun, there. And the Hulk looks awesome. Hopefully he’s drunk, too.
These screens have already been in Game Informer, but now you can see them as God intended.
It’s out early next year for 360 and PS3. Go team, etc.

Great stuff. I wonder just how large the roster will be however

Bullshots. They’re all 2560×1440. Still, it’s the gameplay not the graphics that matter when it comes to Capcom fighters.

An unnatural resolution dosnt mean shots are ‘bullshots’ exactly. But these probably have been cleaned up abit before they were released. Capcom are no strangers to the practice.

@7 – it looks like a comic-book. Hence the Marvel bit, y’kow MARVEL, COMICS, COMIC-BOOKS.

@9: I’m a huge comic book fan. Comics /= kiddy. These screens, however, look more like Marvel’s Super-Hero Squad than, say, Civil War.
EDIT: Oh god, now I sound like that comic-book nerd from The Simpsons. The game looks pretty, just not to my taste. MvsC was always too fiddly/complex a 1-on-1 fighter for me, so I’ve little interest in it anyway.
