Sony to introduce new PSPgo sales promotion

Sony's set to announce a new promotion that it hopes will encourage sales of PSPgo, and anyone who registered their handheld after April 1 will be entitled to the offer.

The offer will allow folks to get ten full game downloads like Gran Turismo, LittleBigPlanet, FIFA 10 and GTA.

"On PSPgo we’ve decided to innovate with that particular business model,” SCE UK director Mark Howsen told MCV. "Next month we’re launching a free ten game offer. And this isn’t just older titles – we’ve worked with third parties and there’s some really good core products.

“We’re using it as a method to drive the hardware as well by making the whole proposition much more appealing".

The new deal is similar to the one Sony had around Christmas, and the other PSPgo offer back in February.

An exact date on the deal is expected to be announced soon.
