BioWare to open new customer services center in Galway

galway

EA's announced it will open a new customer service center from BioWare in Galway. As in Galway in the Republic of Ireland.

The firm announced the deal earlier today in a press release, with investment in the new center being supported by IDA Ireland.

"The new Irish location for BioWare will help us get closer to our fans in Europe," BioWare boss Ray Muzyka said of the announcement. "Galway gives us the right mix of solid technology infrastructure and international recruitment opportunities as we continue to focus on bringing the highest quality gaming experiences to market."

Irish Taoiseach Brian Cowen added on the deal: "EA is the global leader in interactive entertainment and a very important addition to the thriving games industry in Ireland."

Shame it's not in Derry, mind.

Hiring for the new center is now under way. Anyone interested in joining should apply here.
