Ninja Theory working on “story-based” DLC for Enslaved, demo “on the cards”

Ninja Theory boss Tameem Antoniades has told VG247 the studio is working on “story-based” downloadable content for new title Enslaved.
In an exclusive interview with us at a pre-E3 European press event from Namco in Barcelona two weeks ago, Antoniades confirmed any DLC would be of the story kind, not the addition of multiplayer.
“Namco don’t want to announce that, but we’re working on it now. It’s not going to be anything like multiplayer,” said Antoniades.
When asked if it would story-based DLC, he said: “Yeah, it would be story-based.”
Antoniades also confirmed to us that a demo for the game, based on a futuristic version of the classic Chinese Monkey legend, Journey to the West, is in the planing at NT.
“That’s on the cards. That’s the plan, yeah,” he said when asked if a demo would be coming before release. The dev previously released a demo of PS3 exclusive Heavenly Sword a good month or so before its release back in September 2007.
Catch our interview with Tameem Antoniades here. Some new shots of Enslaved is here.
Enslaved: Odyssey to the West releases this fall for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

NO NO NO NO NO
This simply won’t do. Please remove them from this rumoured project immediately. The last game was relatively poor and if we get this team behind the next one, this franchise will be well and truly dead.

Oh God! Not more story DLC! This only works on games that already have alot of hours of game time. They ruined Alan Wake with this idea, and they’re going to ruin lots more games if this becomes a trend.

I’m skeptical about this game!
I’ll only buy it if it’s= more action less platforming.
Rather than how it is now- more platforming, less action:/

Yes! Finally some story DLC! I am sick and tired of all the multiplayer and weapon dlc. I want meaty story that continues the game after the end up till the sequel. Sortof like Alan Wake. I am completely contrary to @3 here, and I hope good quality story DLC becomes a trend. Alan Wake was awesome! If the DLC keeps to the same quality level they got a happy customer for many episodes to come.

Most of the time story dlc is saved for the inevitable sequel.
