WoW: Remote Auction in Beta, Cataclysm shots show Worgen

Blizzard has released the first images of the Worgen, this one being a female, that will appear in WoW: Cataclysm.

Also, it has been announced that the Remote Auction house for the MMO has gone into Beta.

The app for auctions will be made available on iPod Touch, iPhone, and via the web, and it lets you buy, browse, sell, and collect your winnings.

For now, since it’s in Beta, the app is free, but once it goes live you will need a World of Warcraft Remote subscription to use the premium features.

Currently, the Beta’s limited to select servers, but will be expanded at a later date. You can get the list here.

Oh, and don’t forget – BlizzCon tickets go on sale in June, and the closed Beta for Cataclysm will start soon.

Worgen babes are awful in my opinion. Kinda cheesy look.

Like the female Taurens look any better than their male counterpart.

The Worgens look helluva lot better than the damn Tauren.

You forgot to mention that the remote subscription will be an additional 3$ a month and there will be a web based version of the remote auction house for those that do not own a Iphone or Ipad.

That’s not quite accurate – those released shots are actually the very first look at the female Worgen. We’ve known what the males look like for a long while now, but up until now, nobody had any idea how the females would turn out (not even the dataminers, the models were simply not there).

oh and /edit: these models don’t have any hair. They’ll probably look a lot better with some hair on their heads. I’d have to agree they look kinda measly right now. But after all, they’re WIP.

MMO Champion had these models up along with the hair before Blizzard sent a cease and desist order on them.

Are you sure about that? I check MMO quite regularly and I’ve only seen a textureless model up there. About everything is datamineable nowawadys, but these models were one of the few things no-one had actually seen.

Excited to first experience the changes at Cataclysm Beta, that’s a big innovation that they do that all auction stuff can be access by my iPhone. Well looking forward for a cheap world of warcraft gold.

BTW, do you think its better if the Worgen guys are more masculine like those taurens? What you think?
