Pachter "was wrong" about Red Dead Redemption

Michael Pachter's admitted he was "wrong" about the potential success of Red Dead Redemption.

Speaking to CVG on the eve of the eve of the game's release in the UK, the Wedbush Morgan analyst says Rockstar was "right all along" on the potential success of the western.

"I suppose we should call them visionaries," he told CVG. "I have been skeptical a long time, but they always believed that a Western, if done well, would sell well. It looks like they were right all along. Nobody can doubt that they made a great game."

Despite his skepticism, Pachter hopes Rockstar sends him a copy, although chances might be low on that one.

"Maybe after that comment, they'll finally send me a copy; they haven't sent me any games since I doubted whether Bully would sell well."

Red Dead's out in the UK for PS3 and 360 tomorrow - with or without invisible horsies.
