Miyamoto: Zelda Wii will be "player friendly"

zeldaartmain

Shigeru Miyamoto has revealed that the next Zelda for Wii will have "player friendly" controls.

"For us, it is important to the to optimise gameplay and make the controls easier," he told GamingMedia recently during a video interview.

"We do our best to make the controls player friendly, since Zelda has become complicated."

He also adds the game will surprise people, although wouldn't be more specific as to how that would happen.

"For us, two things are important: to meet expectations and to surprise people. How we do it this time, I will not reveal," said Miyamoto.

"Normally, we create the video sequences, and these sequences are expanded. But this time we started with the game structure. And then with the video sequences. So this time it was reversed. Therefore, we have had little so far from the game to show. But will publish a lot close to the game's completion."

The new title was briefly teased by Miyamoto during a roundtable he hosted at E3 last year with a piece of concept art from the event, but this year's event is expected to lift the cover off the game. Please, something like this, Shigs.

Thanks, D'Toid.
