Screens – Fallout: New Vegas [Update]

Saturday, 15th May 2010 21:13 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Update: We’ve removed these shots at Bethesda’s request.

Original: No Mutants Allowed has posted some screens from Fallout: New Vegas.

Sure, you’ve seen ‘em before via magazine scans and whatnot, but here they are in  high resolution glory for you, courtesy of German website Gamersglobal [They've now been removed - Ed].

Think bigger is better? Then head on over to NMA for some super-sizing.

The game’s to be made available for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 in a Collector’s Edition, as well as the normal retail version this fall.

I hoping this game is far better than the last game. Afterall its made by some of the original team.

While i strongly believe in gameplay>graphics, cause Fallout 3 wasn’t the prettiest game ever, but i LOVED that game..i spent ridiculous many hours into that game, more hours than i put ever into any other game. And the graphics were quite nice overall though, nothing to really complain about.

But the game-scene ain’t standing still, we get more and more games with incredible graphics and animations(for animations RDR is a good example) and the new Fallout won’t have improved animations, it’ll be completely the same as Fallout 3. And while i still believe this won’t matter for long when i am playing the game…still slightly concerned about it. And ain’t Obsidian also making Alpha Protocol? The game that ain’t looking too convincing in my book? I’m probably worrying about nothing though.

Agree with Moony. I’ve sunk a fucktonne of time into F3 on both 360 and PS3. Love my Bobblehead and cannot wait for this one.

haha, moony sounds cool. So you actually bought the game for both PS3 and Xbox 360? And finished it on both as well? Although the main story wasn’t even that long, it was especially the many many sidequests that kept me busy.

Not so long ago i played Metro 2033 and i saw the animations of the characters and that particular part reminded me of Fallout and i thought how cool it would be if New Vegas got these kind of animations, but ah is what it is right?

Personally, I thought Fallout 3 looked amazing! Oh wait, most of you probably played the console versions. Fallout 3 had the same symptoms as Oblivion; looked horrible on consoles, looked beautiful on PCs.

For the size of the whole game world, the game looked pretty damn good yeah. I also said it wasn’t the prettiest game ever, but it did look real good. On my plasma screen it certainly didn’t look anywhere close to horrible or anything. On PC it probably only looks crisper but that’s about it, i bet :)

@6 Bullshit. Oblivion looked like shit on PC and Fallout 3 looked as shit on PC.

+ Fallout 3 had everything WRONG what Fallout 1-2 did right. Horrible execution and only casual players can enjoy this pile of donkey crap.

Now that is BS! Oblivion on PC was one of the most beautiful looking games at the time on PC. The graphics were even too high for the graphic cards available at the time. Take your hate somewhere else Erthazus!

Yeah, found the CE with tin and bobblhead on the PS3 cheap and bought the GOTY for the PS3 when it came out because I’d heard the PS3 edition was a little ‘temperamental’.
As for the graphics. Thought it played best in FPS cam and it was more about the atmosphere. Walking around at night was fucking terrifying.
    Can’t wait for F:NV.

Yeah at night was awesome but scary at the same time, i remember that i paused the game and changed the game to daytime again, simply so i could see more and i liked it more that way.

I now have awesome companion though, forgot his name, but the dude simply can’t die. Too bad he ain’t coming along in the DLC’s, i’ve yet to start with Point Lookout, but he won’t be coming along, lol.
