Helghast to invade Lost Planet 2 in June

Richard Earl, brand manager at Capcom Europe, has posted over on the EU PS Blog that Killzone’s Helghast are invading Lost Planet 2 – only on PS3 of course.

The Helghast Assault and Helghast Scout troops will be ready to take on pirate factions and Akrids starting at the end of June.

The skins will be free of charge via PSN for US and UK’ers alike.

Theres a very Killzone-like feel to LP2, especially durring the slums part in Episode 2.

Read the PS blog post and it also said that Frank West is also on the PS3 version too, cool didn’t know that!

Yeah, you have to have a save from the first Lost Planet to get him on PS3 apparently.

Oh then I’ll have no problem then since I have the first one. And yeah, it’s cool that Sony is FINALLY using their collective heads and wallets to buy exclusive content. Question, liked the first LP, is LP2 better or meh?

@5…unfortunately meh imo…i loved the first one…multiplayer remains to be fun but i personally don´t like lost planet 2 much…i miss the snow…also- as many reviews say – if you plan to play it alone it is a real turn off. the ai of your squad is crap – this ruins it – also i don´t like the design of the menues, the online lobby etc. and some other minor things that altogehter left me very unimpressd by the game…it´s bad – i really was looking forward to this one. they kind of ruined a great franchise. game is not superbad – it just could have been really really great.
