Madworld director Shigenori Nishikawa has left developer Platinum Games, according to Shinji Mikami.

The Resident Evil creator himself is at the developer right now as director of the upcoming Vanquish, but will leave once production is done on the game to create a new studio based in Tokyo called Tango, where Nishikawa has been hired.

Mikami announced the news via a Tweet. He announced the formation of the studio back in March.
