Japanese hardware charts – PSP sales double up thanks to Peace Walker

MGS: Peace Walker’s perked up PSP sales a little bit: they’ve doubled week-on-week in Japan.
The handheld sold 59k last weeks due to the release of the new title in the Snake-filled series in the country, which sold 425k in its first week on sale.
It completely blitzed sales of PS3, which sold 32k, while Wii sold 30k. Pretty much a non-movers and shakers situation other than that.
Full list is below. Last week’s data is here.
- PSP – 59,315
- PS3 – 32,784
- Wii – 30,757
- DSi LL – 25,569
- DSi – 15,628
- Xbox 360 – 4,943
- Nintendo DS – 4,068
- PSPgo – 1,890
- PS2 – 1,577

@Johnny: check this vid out. It’s some crazy UC2 footage: RoaringLion54 kills the entire opposing team by performing 5 pull downs in a row. you might have to make a post about it. Yeah it’s that good.
