4mm Games opens London office

4mm

Rockstar co-founders Jamie King and Gary Forman's 4mm Games now has a new office in London.

Hired on as an adviser and to help establish 4mm's presence in the European market via the West End office, will be Geoffrey Heath, whose initial focus will be on sales and marketing for Def Jam Rapstar.

Heath has over 30 years of videogame experience, and formerly held a position at Activision Europe, founded Mindscape, and was CEO for NCsoft Europe.

“4mm’s vision is of a world where people can play games together, constantly, everywhere," said CEO Nick Perrett. "We deliver on this vision through our Constantly Connected Gaming platform and by being closer to our players.

"A London office is key to us being better able to serve our European customers, wherever they are.”

Def Jam Rapstar is slated for a September release on PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360.

It's to be published by Konami.
