Wii Party revealed in Nintendo investors meeting

You’ve had Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Wii Music and Wii Play Now, meet the newest addition to the group of first-party games: Wii Party.
The game was announced at an investors meeting earlier this week by Nintendo president Satoru Iwata.
Like all games before it, Miis will be your main characters for the game.
“As you know, ‘Wii something’ are the titles that we use only with software that Nintendo has developed exclusively for Wii with the aim to make them marquee titles for Wii,” Iwata said at the meeting.
“We are developing this game with the aim to make it a marquee party game for Wii.”
He further added: “We are developing it with the intent that every Wii player will be able to find a game that can be enjoyed. In a game play mode called ‘Living Party,’ there are unique game play only available with the Wii Remote.”
No release date yet other then by the end of fiscal 2011. We’re saying no more.
Thanks, Kotaku.

Satoru Iwata also hinted at plans for the upcoming event of the year for video games, E3 “We’re planning big show, big show. There will be plenty of announcements that I’m sure will please our fans”
When asked about Wii’s basic online service and if there are any plans to improve it Iwata simply replied “Wait and see”.
Iwata was also questioned about a supposed homebrew title for WiiWare which strangely appeared on the service but was removed a couple of hours later “Tit for Tat” which was asking for 800 WeePoints was a tattoo simulator which rewarded the player with strange images of male genitals and animal excrete. Iwata refused to comment on the farce.
