Nintendo’s just announced latest hardware numbers for Wii and DS in its full-year financials.
Over 27.1 million DS have been sold in the 12 months ending March 31, with lifetime-to-date numbers for the handheld now at 129 million units.
Wii sold 20.5 million units in the same fiscal year, with 70.9 million units now shifted life-to-date.
At the end of March 2009, total worldwide Wii shipments stood at approximately 50.3m units, while DS shipments moved passed 100 million to hit around 101.7m units.
DS launched in November 2004. Wii first released in 2006.
