ActiBlizz Q1 2010 financials: Infinity Ward “remain an important process” to Call of Duty

Activision president Bobby Kotick’s just said that despite its latest troubles, Infinity Ward “remains an important process” to the Call of Duty IP.
Kotick’s comment came at the start of Activision’s Q1 2010 financial call, and over two months after the whole blowout began when ex-bosses Vince Zampella and Jason West were fired for “insubordination”.
The call’s ongoing, but expect some comments on the situation. The firm said at the start of the call they’ll answer as much as they can on the situation.

Wow, reduced to “a procces” 0_o
What a motivator!
You don’t get to make the games anymore, but you get to make a few maps and maybe model a car.

Whoa.
Johnny, you should get on the horn and ask them what they mean by that.
I mean “remains an important process” could mean anything from “We really want to win the lawsuits” to “We really want to make another map pack” to “We might not kill this studio after all”.

Yeah, they could just re-brand Treyach as IW and try and convince people that everything is business as usual.

@3 Let praise God so that Kottick doesn’t hear that.
