THQ: Red Faction, Homefront still on target for FY11

THQ said that it's FY11 line-up still includes the new Red Faction and Homefront.

Speaking during the company's full-year 2010 financial call to investors, CEO Brian Farrell said that both will be shown at E3, which is just restating what he said back in February, but the confirmation is good.

Homefront, he said, has "ground breaking multiplayer capabilities", and Red Faction has an "innovative destruction mechanic, as well as story and environment".

Farrell revealed that the last Red Faction has moved 1.3M units to date, and the company feels it did a "great job on the game, but an average job on demand creation" for it.

"We have worked on this, and you will see that when we reveal it later on in the month at E3," said Farrell. "We added production values in terms of story and environment and it has an appealing universe".

Another WWE Smackdown vs Raw and WWE Online are also set to be shown at E3, along with another unrevealed title in the franchise.

A Q4 release for de Blob is also expected, pitting it still for Q1 2012, with more announcements and news on all these titles coming later in the year.

So, look for the new Red Faction and Homefront sometime between October 1, 2010 and March 31, 2011.
