World premiere of Treyarch’s Call of Duty hitting GTTV
The world premiere announcement of Treyarch’s new Call of Duty game will happen on GTTV, according to a tweet from Keighley.

Obsidian: Canned Aliens RPG felt “ready to ship”
Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart has said that before the game was canceled, for all intents and purposes, the Aliens RPG it was working on looked like “a finished game”.

Spanish mag gives Alan Wake 93/100; says it’s 16 hours long
A Spanish gaming magazine called Hobby Consolas has published the first Alan Wake review, and has given it a 93/100.
It doesn’t end there though, information provided in the scans of it, reveals that the game lasts up to 16-hours.

Analyst: Infinity Ward will be “essentially closed” after next map pack is released

Hydrophobia is a timed exclusive; will come to PC and PSN
Dark Energy Digital bossman Pete Jones has clarified that the firm’s retail and XBL game Hydrophobia is not totally exclusive to Xbox 360.
Instead, it’s just a “timed” exclusive.

The game’s out May 11 in the US and May 14 in the UK for PS3 and Xbox 360, and a demo was released for it earlier in the month.

It’s late in the afternoon and it’s fitting to find the developer known as the Bourbon Cowboy – Chris Metzen – on horseback. Admittedly, it’s a virtual steed; we’ve just walked in on him playing World of Warcraft in his office at Blizzard’s Irvine, CA headquarters. It turns out even the mind behind some of the most distinctive (and lucrative) worlds known in gaming – StarCraft, Warcraft and Diablo – is an achievement junkie, with Metzen trying to nail in-game exploration accolades “between meetings”.
Or at least that’s his story.
