Next Mistwalker game laid bare in Famitsu

Kotaku’s hosting scans of the latest issue of Famitsu, showing off Mistwalker’s next game in all its Japanese glory.
Final Fantasy legend Hironobu Sakaguchi’s latest, The Last Story, is a Wii RPG set in some sort of quasi-Medieval world. Apparently it’s going to be aimed at the older audience.
It was announced by Nintendo at the end of January. There’s been a steady run of news since then, but this is the first look at the game itself.
You can look at the entire article over there. All of it. All the pages. On the website.

Looks a bit like a slightly more medieval Final Fantasy XII.

Sad that it’s Wii exclusive. I won’t be able to play it.

I don’t know a whole lot about The Last Story, but I know that The Lost Story XIII is going to be very pretty.

@ Elven_Star You could always just buy a Wii to play it on…
…though why any developer in this day and age that isn’t first party owned would make format-exclusive games is beyond me.

@Boris Fett
I’d rather save money for a next generation console. My Xbox360 days are numbered now. Actually I believe we’ll hear about next generation at E3 this year. Plus, my PS2 beats Wii in every possible aspect. I’m not a fan of making monkey moves while playing, mind you
