Street Fighter ultimate champion Daigo "The Beast" Umehara has entered a sponsorship agreement with peripherals firm Mad Catz.

Daigo will now use Mad Catz sticks while he goes round the world beating everyone else at Street Fighter, and will apparently also have a hand in future product development. In between beating everyone else at Street Fighter.

In Daigo's opinion, the Mad Catz Tournament Edition FightStick is the most realistic and authentic Arcade Stick available.

“In my opinion, the Mad Catz Tournament Edition FightStick is the most realistic and authentic Arcade Stick available," he said, "and continues to be my controller of choice when playing in tournaments.

"I’m excited to be part of Team Mad Catz and look forward to working closely alongside with them."
