Gray Matter coming to Xbox 360

Gray Matter, the long in the making adventure game from Jane Jensen, has been announced for release on Xbox 360 by the publisher, dtp entertainment.
The game will be released alongside the PC version during Q4 this year.
According to the press release, the controls for the Xbox 360 version were adjusted to fit the system, and that is the only difference between it and the PC release.
“With the Xbox 360 release, Gray Matter can reach a broader audience, especially people who don’t play PC games very often, said Jensen.
“I’m very excited to see Gray Matter expanding to other platforms.”
This is Jensen’s first game since she released Gabriel Knight 3.
Here’s the story:
Neurobiologist Dr. David Styles is one of the main characters in the game. Ever since losing his wife in a terrible car accident many years ago, he has become a recluse, leaving his English mansion Dread Hill House only on rare occasions.
Vagabond and street artist Samantha Everett shows up on his doorstep unexpectedly, at a time when Styles just happens to be looking for a new assistant. Originally from America, she has been travelling Europe for the last few years, and is in desperate need of a job and place of refuge. Her first assignment involves finding six volunteers for an experiment planned by Dr. Styles at Oxford University.
The experiment begins harmlessly enough, but soon strange things start happening. Styles is visited by his beloved, but deceased wife. Now it is up to Sam to solve the mysteries of Dread Hill House.
In Gray Matter, the player takes control of Dr. David Styles as well as Samantha Everett as they are trying to unveil secrets and find the truth.
Hooray! Finally.

Erm….awesome! \o/
Just the game itself, not the fact that it’s coming to Xbox 360.

I remember Gameplay trailer in 2008. Graphics and design don’t look like a next gen game at all. =\ More like a Wii or Ps2 game.

This sounds great, but the naming of the mansion, Dread Hill House, really bugs me. What is he, a retired Scooby Doo villain? I’m surprised he doesn’t send her off to Creepyton to ask Mayor Ghoulybits for the key to Old Man Murdercrow’s secret lab, instead of Oxford University.
Daft naming conventions like that really irritate me. It completely kills all credability in what otherwise looks like a marvelously atmospheric mystery/adventure, for me. Shame, but still an interesting looking game.

Doesn’t seem like a good idea to me. 360 reviewers will be all like: “Graphics and design don’t look like a next gen game at all. =\”.
Maybe release it on XLA, episodically?
