“God damn Frank West” to be in more Capcom games, says Killian

Seth Killian, community manager over at Capcom, has revealed that folks may want to get used to seeing Dead Rising’s hero in games from the company and others.
Apparently, it just loves it some Frank West.
Speaking in the latest D’toid podcast Here is what Killian said about the zombie killer:
“For better or for worse, (Capcom of) Japan has understood that ‘the West’ likes Frank,” he said. ” So maybe that’s why he’s called Frank West?
“I don’t know… Rightly or wrongly (Capcom of) Japan is convinced that Joe Six pack here in America love God damn Frank West.
“He will be making appearances in as many games as they can get him into”.
He’s already in Tatsunoko Vs Capcom, and Lost Planet 2; there’s a nod in his direction in Left 4 Dead 2′s The Passing, and thanks to some silhouettes of unannounced characters in Marvel vs Capcom 3 – he’s likely in that as well.
Listen to the full thing on D’toid for yourself tomorrow.

Infact it would surely be better to have the new guy (Chuck) all over the place to promote Dead Rising 2… Then again, i doubt Chucks covered wars, ya’know…

Oh yeah, Dead Rising was all about the characters. The fact that the player was in a giant mall with hundreds of ways to kill thousands of zombies didn’t had nothing to do with the games success.
That clown was pretty rad, though.
