Fable III hero screenshot is rather smashing

Lionhead has tweeted a new screenshot from Fable III, and it is very pretty indeed.

The game is due out this holiday season, with development to be shut-off come Thanksgiving.

According to Molyneux, it will have the greatest cast ever assembled for a videogame, and will get episodic DLC post release.

Was expecting something smashing, this simply just looks good. But that’s about it, really hope it’ll be much more than Fable II was. God what a dissapointment it was.

Well, he does look like something on the cover of a romance novel funnily enough, although there isn’t a woman fainting over his masculine sensitivity in it with her bosom about to pop out of her bodice. :D

Isnt it time already to just let people customize their faces ? For a serie that pride itself , for bad and good reasons alike , on giving you freedom and choices , i’ve always find that annoying and unnerving .

Especially with the face from Fable 2 .

Looks *much* better than Fable 2 (obviously improved lighting and textures), but that’s not very difficult – even Molyneaux said that Fable 2′s GFX and anims weren’t abnything special (and that’s being charitable). Let’s just hope it doesn’t chug like F2 did.

I still think the art-style was better suited on the original Xbox.
