Tuesday, 20th April 2010 14:05 GMT By Johnny Cullen

As promised two weeks ago, Halo 3 is now available on Games on Demand for 360.

The Bungie shooter will cost £19.99 and weighs in at 6Gb to download. If you’re interested, queue it up here.

The game is the last in the main Halo trilogy from the Seattle developer, with Chief promising to “finish the fight” against the Covenant.

Go get it. May as well, what with the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta up in a couple of weeks on May 3.

Doesn’t it play terrible straight from a hard drive? Or did that get fixed, seem to recall a bit of a semi hoo-hah over its performance when game installations first arrived.

@2: that was fixed a while ago. Makes sense now, at first I thought it was because MS was being nice to us gamers, but I should’ve known that it was mainly done so that they would be able to sell it on Games on Demand…

Or, you could get a pre-owned copy from any major game retailer for ~£6.
