Vince Zampella and Jason West have given "the man" who is Bobby Kotick and Activision the finger. With yesterday's Respawn news, it turned into a "screw-you" as well.

"This is the ultimate screw-you to Activision -- and the ultimate screw-you to EA," said Michael Pachter, who also remembers the old days of 2015 Inc. and the Medal of Honor days for the pair.

"By going to EA now and getting paid up, they say, 'you're finally paying us what we're due'," added the Wedbush Morgan analyst. "EA are being the bigger people here. They're not wounded at all by the fact that they lost these guys and the Medal of Honor brand deteriorated.

The ex-Infinity Ward bosses announced the formation of the new studio, with EA Partners overseeing distribution and publishing of the title.
