Bleszinski: Gears 3 "probably" releasing on April 8, 2011

Epic lead designer Cliff Bleszinski has dropped a tentative April 8, 2011 release date for Gears of War 3 while appearing on Jimmy Fallon.

Speaking on the late-night talk show, when asked what the "exact date" would be for the release of the game - April 2011 was only confirmed in the debut trailer - Bleszinski only said: "Probably be about April 8, 2011."

The date is exactly bang on with the one mentioned by Edge in a report from last month.

The game was announced earlier this morning on the US show, with Bleszinski citing it as "the worst kept secret in the videogame industry".
