Splinter Cell: Conviction gets 9.3 from IGN

Hype train for Splinter Cell: Conviction is in full force after Edge's eight yesterday: it's now gotten a 9.3 from IGN in the game's first online review.

So yeah, go get it, obviously. A blurb from the review below:

The only reason to hesitate and pick this up is if you only care about the single-player story and want nothing to do with anything else Conviction has to offer. If that's the case, then there's not a lot of game to be had. And also, you're nuts. The best parts of Conviction are the experiences you have long after you've left Sam Fisher behind.

Splinter Cell: Conviction's out on Tuesday in the US and Friday in the UK for 360. The PC version's been held back until 29.
