Feder: Take Two a lot more then “the ‘GTA company’”

Grand Theft Auto is great, sure. Outside of the Daily Mail lot, everyone loves it. But Take Two wants you to see it more than just as “the ‘GTA’ company”.
“We’re very proud of Grand Theft Auto,” T2 CEO Ben Feder told MCV. “The franchise is second to none and we’re very fortunate to have it.
“While we’re often seen as the ‘GTA company’, the truth is that most big publishers have one or two flagship franchises that drive a meaningful portion of their revenue. We actually believe that relative to the rest of the industry we have great depth in the quality of our IP.”
Feder added that outside of GTA, Take Two sees two massive games for this year and 2011 doing very well: LA Noire for PS3 and 360 in fall from Rockstar, and Spec Ops: The Line from 2K next year.
This year already, as far as GTA is concerned, Chinatown Wars has released onto iPhone and iPod Touch, while Episodes from Liberty City will release on PS3 and PC next week.
There’s a full interview with Ben Feder here.
