SCEA has revealed the Big Boss PSP pack for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, slated to launch alongside the stand-alone game and the Limited Edition Bundle in June.

The “Big Boss” Pack, like the LE Bundle, will only be made available at GameStop locations in the US.

It will run you for $199.99 as well, but instead of having a Spirited Green PSP-3000, this one is camouflaged.

Here’s what else is in it:

  • The game on UMD
  • Voucher for in-game content unlockable early on in the game
  • PlayStation Network downloadable movie voucher — title to be announced
  • 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo
  • Premium carrying case

The LE Bundle has the same contents, only with a 2Gb Memory Stick PRO Duo instead of the 4Gb one included in the camoed pack.

The “Big Boss” Pack for PSP will be available in the US only. Canadian residents will only receive the Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker PSP Entertainment Pack. Both the Big Boss Pack and the Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker PSP Entertainment Pack will feature a movie. Canadian residents will get a UMD version while US residents will receive a PSN movie voucher.

MGS: Peace Walker is out on June 8 in the US and the UK on June 18, full of product placement.

    yea the PSP needs to be 129.99 if not 99.99 now. The thing is the cheaper the system gets the easier it will be for pirates to take more advantage of the system causing further loss in the software sales for PSP.

    Sony need to:
    * make the PSPgo £129
    * have plenty of Special Offers on the PSN store
    * make the Minis dev tools free with emulator

    …in my opinion.

    IMO the PSPGo needs to drop to the 100 mark now, it should be to the PSP what the Slimline models were to the home consoles; Cheaper versions. And i think the PSP has been out long enought to warrent a massive price drop by now.
