Infinity Ward's Rob Bowling has just confirmed that the Stimulus Package, the first DLC for Modern Warfare, will release in May for PS3 and PC.

It'll hit North America for PS3 on May 4, with a release elsewhere on May 5. PC gets it worldwide on May 4.

This is to be expected as Xbox 360 had a 30-day head start on the maps.

So far, the DLC has broken all sorts of records over on XBL, with 2.5M downloads in it's first week.

MW2 players have also invested more than 1.75 billion hours of gameplay on XBL since November when the game was released.

The news was confirmed by Bowling on Twitter.
