Mass Effect 2: Kasumi’s Stolen Memory now available

After a day long delay, BioWare’s put live the first premium downloadable content for Mass Effect 2.
The reason why it never went up yesterday hasn’t been explained, but it is thought to be something to do with server issues.
The DLC itself comes in at 765Mb at 560 MS points for Xbox Live or 560 BioWare points when you get it off the Cerberus Network for PC. Queue it up for your Xbox 360 here.
The pack sees new character Kasumi included as the final party member for your crew, as her Shepard are on the hunt for a rogue art collector.
She can be included in your team during a playthrough of Mass Effect 2, or can be added after, possibly hinting at a Mass Effect 3 appearance.
Get a trailer for the DLC here.

Overpriced how? A new teammate plus new mission with story. Normally it’s 800 points, its even less. How is this overpriced?

By the sounds of it ME3 will be out next year, i’d be surprised if you’re still after ME2 content in a few more.

I pre-ordered the full new game for £24.99 at Amazon UK.
So why pay 560 MSP just for a teammate and a single new mission?
Yes, it IS overpriced.

Well, whilst you’re wringing your hands over a few measly quid/bucks, I’m going to be enjoying some more stellar ME2 content.

I’ll be grabbing this tonight. As for the pricing, I’m ok with it. I have a normal job, I think that I can afford roughly $8 for some more content.

but it’s not only about the price compared to this game. it’s about the price compared to games like mirror’s edge or dead space or even kotor which i got for 5$ each from steam. hell, gta4 was 7$ at some point. so i guess u get my point.

Well endgame, those are all quite old games now. If you want to wait a couple of years you’ll probably be able to get ME2 for less than ten buck with all DLC thrown in for free. But you’d need to wait. Personally, I want to play this now.
