Crackdown 2 gets kick-ass campaign walkthrough

If we had to use three key words to describe this Crackdown 2 campaign walkthrough, it would have to be these lot: Blowing. Up. Shit.
Because that’s pretty much what happens in most of the walkthrough that’s gone live on GT. Watch it below.
If single-player isn’t your thing, there’s multiplayer stuff here.
Crackdown 2 was confirmed for a July 9 release in the UK last month, with a July 6 release in the US before it for Xbox 360. The Ruffian-made sequel is one you should miss at your peril, Agents. Go watch
Shame there’s no females to mix it up a little bit with, mind.

Chappie there, suggests that Crackdown’s always been about blowing stuff up, but it hasn’t. The Crackdown I played was a promising, although in the end unfulfilling concept where the police are super-powered, jump up buildings, hunt for power-up items hidden in the world, and attempt to rid the city sectors of crime bosses and their minions, also using vehicles.
Yippee, for more of the same? The first vid looks like a dumbed down step back, from Crackdown’s character of old. Disappointing. I’m not feeling this game at all. I’ll take my chances with peril, if it’s all the same to you, VG.

@5: same here. and i felt like that about other sequels as well, like bioshock 2 for example…also i was a big lost planet fan and i didn´t like the demos yet that much. even downloaded the code for the new mp demo. it´s alright but it didn´t knock me off. i was really disappointed, because i had high expectations for lp2´s mp. i believe there is some kind of lack of creativity these days. developers stick too much on their recent ip formulas. games will sell good anyway. i hope we will see some great new ip´s this year with brink, alan wake, rage, red dead etc. but what i really really really want is a third person mp experience which is a blast to play. like lost planet was…

Agree with SplatteredHouse – unlike the first one this just leaves me cold. A soulless hyperactive shell of what the original was.

Weird, it looks really similar to the original to me, which is no bad thing. What is it exactly that’s worse than the first game?
