DAO: Awakening video introduces us to Mhairi

BioWare has put out a new character video for the Dragon Age: Origins expansion, Awakening, and we have it posted below the break for you.
In it, you are introduced to a former knight in the King’s Service named Mhairi, who looks forward to fighting at your side, giggity, and plans to avenge her pal Roland whom the Darkspawn killed.
All looks very interesting. Have a watch.
Expansion’s out this month on the 16th, and US’ers can get the original game 40 percent off upon pre-ordering the expansion through the EA Store.

Pachter: Industry will grow 6.2% per year through 2013

Micahel Pachter has prediced that software revenues in the United States and Europe will grow approximately 6.2 percent per year through 2013.

NPD: Online gaming hours have grown 10% since 2009

The NPD has issued a report called Online Gaming 2010 with cites the average number of hours spent each week on online gaming.
Turns out, it has increased 10 percent since 2009.
