“Loyal” Halo 2 players to gain free access to Halo: Reach beta, other free perks
As much as we loved our original Xbox and its Tonka-tough, bullet-deflecting exterior, we jumped ship to the Xbox 360 seconds after it launched.
Some people, though, aren’t so fickle. “Loyal” is what Microsoft’s calling them, and we agree. But Microsoft’s officially declared it curtains for the original Xbox’s Live service on April 15. The console maker isn’t, however, callously bulldozing players’ online homes and leaving them high and dry. So, what’s up for grabs?

Digital Foundry: 360 FFXIII is “a lot worse than it should have been”

Massive rumor – Killzone 3 out at Christmas with 3D capabilities
Killzone 3 may not have been the game some people were hoping Sony was going to announce tonight, but that has not kept the game from being chatted about, either.
According to sources close to Guerrilla, the game’s set for a holiday launch complete with Arc and 3D support.

Internal Activision memo suggests talks between IW and EA
Looks like a leaked memo from Activision may shed some light on the firing of former Infinity Ward execs Vince Zampella and Jason West.
Apparently, according to the note, the duo had been in “communication” with other publishers – including EA.

Ex-Infinity Ward bosses seek “at least $36 million” from Acti suit
According to Bloomberg, Jason West and Vince Zampella, the Infinity Ward co-founders who were unceremoniously sacked earlier this week and confirmed this morning as suing Activision for royalties, are seeking “at least $36 million” from the action.
