Modern Warfare 2 title update is now live [Update]

Update 2: The matchmaking issue is now fixed per The Major. Get to getting it.
Update: According to The Major, there are some issues regarding Matchmaking with the new Stimulus Package.
Here’s the tweet: “Matchmaking is in a bad state on Xbox LIVE right now. We’re working on it and will resolve it as quickly as we can”.
Not a good day for MW2 players so far, apparently.
Original: The Major has just tweeted that the Modern Warfare 2 title update is now live, so get to downloading your Stimulus Package, soldiers.

Guy steals Breach code from PAX, gets arrested

While Atomic was showing Breach at PAX East over the weekend, an attendee at the booth attempted to steal the game’s code.
After stealing about 14Mb of the game’s code, he ran off upon discovery, and was luckily apprehended a bit later.

Bungie details Halo: Reach matchmaking a bit more

Earlier in the month, some features included in the matchmaking portion of Halo: Reach were revealed through a detailed piece over on Shack.
Today, Bungie has added even more meat and potatoes to that mix, stirring it all together to feed you what looks to be a very nice beef-stew that is more of a meal that just information.

MW2: Stimulus Package drops onto Live, is broken [Update]

Update: It’s still unplayable. Nelson’s just said we’re going to get an update in the next 30 minutes.
Update 2: Oh dear. Microsoft’s Dan Maher just tweeted that the title update that’s preventing people from playing the content is “currently being prepped, but could take four hours to appear everywhere once it’s ready.”
Update 3: Nelson and Inside Xbox UK ed Andy Farrant just both tweeted that the update is now ready to download, although the former states it’ll be a couple of minutes before the update goes worldwide.
