Nintendo Power’s officially lifted the wraps off The Conduit 2, which was recently hinted during GDC.

The magazine drops the nugget that Sega is indeed on publishing duties once again, despite weak sales of the first title.

It’s also confirmed that the sequel will take place in Atlantis, with little floaty object the ASE returning to guide you through once again. Huge boss fights are promised, and old weapons will return alongside new toys.

Developer High Voltage didn’t drop much info in terms of online multiplayer, but did confirm a new co-op mode called “Invasion Mode”, which sees four players (offline or online) team up.

No exact date was given.

Thanks, GoNintendo.

Surprise! I didn’t think Sega would touch another one with a bargepole.

What else have Sega got? Not exactly many core titles coming out of Saga in recent times.

The gist I gathered from reviews of the first was that they absolutely nailed the controls and engine, but that the levels were boring. Hire a decent designer and they might be onto something.

I’d be really surprised if this remained exclusive to the Wii.

PS3 version would seem to be a possibility at least. Although there’s a hell of a lot more competition on PS3 than on Wii.

@2 Bayonetta? Resonance of Fate? AvP? Whether any of those are your cup of tea is another matter, but I’d say Sega are doing a pretty good job of catering to the core market so far this year.

Unless you genuinely meant Saga, in which case I believe they’re working on Catheter Panic! Wii and Imagine Insurance.

Even with a lack of competition, from what i gather the first one sold poorly on Wii.

And it seems that the devs are already impressed with Move. Not to mention them taking The Grinder multiplat.
